The 23-1 heavy-duty anchor arm is the load-bearing fixed point of a tunnel anchoring compensation system. Mounted on the tunnel wall or a dedicated foundation, it carries the full anchoring tension of the contact wire and messenger wire and provides the rigid support on which the compensation components operate.
Manufactured to TB/T 2075.23-2024, Fittings for overhead contact system of electrification railway — Part 23: Tunnel anchoring compensation devices, the arm is a welded structure of arm body and base plate reinforced with stiffeners. The base plate's hole pattern bolts to tunnel embedments, and pulley blocks, limit frames and other 23-series components mount directly on the arm.
