4-6 Support Fitting (35 / 50)

Clamp-and-ear fitting on the positioning tube that carries and supports ropes and positioning parts.

4-6 Support Fitting (35 / 50)

Specifications

Model4-6 (35/50)
Drawing No.4-6
StandardTB/T 2075.4-2024 — Part 4: Non-limit-type positioning devices
InstallationClamped on the positioning tube, connecting and supporting ropes and positioning parts

The 4-6 support fitting is a clamp body with an integrated connection ear. Tightened onto the positioning tube (or the flexible locator's bent tube), it provides a support and connection point for tension ropes and positioning members, with its size matched to the tube diameter so the loaded joint transmits force reliably.

Two sizes cover the tube families — 35 and 50 — and the ear interfaces are standard for the rope and tension fittings of the non-limit positioning family.

Design Features

  • Sizes 35 and 50 matched to the corresponding tube diameters
  • Clamp grip reliable, ear transmits load smoothly
  • Common part with flexible locators and rope assemblies
  • Anti-corrosion finish for long-term outdoor service

The product is manufactured under CRCC railway product certification and an ISO 9001 quality management system, with incoming material inspection, in-process control on critical operations and batch-by-batch final inspection before delivery.

Henan Chuangwit Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplies this locator with selection calculations, matched fittings and site technical guidance for traction power projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the support fitting do?

It clamps onto the positioning tube (or bent tube of a flexible locator) and provides an ear that carries ropes and positioning members — the support point of the joint.

What do the sizes 35 and 50 mean?

They correspond to the tube diameters the clamp fits; choose the size matching your tube.

Which ropes connect to the ear?

Tension ropes and positioning-family fittings with the standard ear interface, including the flexible locator's rope.

Is it shared with the limit-type family?

It belongs to TB/T 2075.4 (non-limit-type positioning devices) but the rope interfaces are common across the positioning families.

Performance

Operating Conditions

Outdoor service at OCS registration points on mainline, high-speed and station structures, subject to suspension, wind, ice and dynamic pantograph loads as defined by the OCS design.

Mechanical Performance

Size-matched clamp transmits rope loads reliably; ear geometry suits the tension fitting family.

Applications

Flexible Registration

Supports the 4-4 locator rope run.

Station Yards

One fitting for tube-mounted connections.

Standard Assemblies

Interfaces match rope end fittings.

Harsh Climates

Anti-corrosion finish for outdoor duty.
