CJL63(H) Locator

Specifications

ModelCJL63(H)
StandardTB/T 2075 series, Fittings for overhead contact system of electrified railway
Tensile Failure LoadWorking 2.5 kN · Tensile 3.75 kN · Compressive 2.5 kN · Breaking 7.5 kN
Materials20# steel body; QAl9-4 aluminum bronze clamp
InstallationMounted at the cantilever end, positioning the contact wire and carrying its horizontal load

The CJL63(H) locator is manufactured by hot bending and crimping processes and fixes the contact wire position in the positioning device, transmitting the horizontal load of the wire into the support structure while holding the stagger within tolerance.

Load Ratings

  • Maximum working load: 2.5 kN
  • Tensile withstand load: 3.75 kN
  • Compressive withstand load: 2.5 kN
  • Breaking load: 7.5 kN
  • Materials: 20# steel; QAl9-4 aluminum bronze (clamp face)

The product is manufactured under CRCC railway product certification and an ISO 9001 quality management system, with incoming material inspection, in-process control on critical operations and batch-by-batch final inspection before delivery. The hot-bent geometry keeps the tube's grain flow continuous through the bend, which is where the breaking reserve of the rating comes from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What loads is the CJL63(H) rated for?

Maximum working load 2.5 kN, tensile withstand 3.75 kN, compressive withstand 2.5 kN and breaking load 7.5 kN — a three-times reserve over working load.

What do the process terms hot-bent and crimped mean here?

The tube body is bent hot, keeping the material's grain flow continuous through the bend, and the clamp end is crimped onto it — a joint stronger and more fatigue-resistant than a welded one.

Which materials are used?

20# quality carbon steel for the body and QAl9-4 aluminum bronze where the clamp faces the contact wire, combining strength with a conductive, wire-friendly clamp face.

Does it fit standard brackets?

Yes — the connection interface follows the positioning bracket family, so it installs like any standard locator.

Performance

Operating Conditions

Outdoor service at OCS registration points on mainline, high-speed and station structures, subject to suspension, wind, ice and dynamic pantograph loads as defined by the OCS design.

Mechanical Performance

Rated 2.5 kN working load with 3× breaking reserve; hot-bent body keeps grain flow through the bend for fatigue life.

Applications

Mainline Registration

2.5 kN class for standard registration duty.

Proven Load Path

3× working load breaking reserve.

Standard Interfaces

Fits the positioning bracket family.

Fatigue Service

Hot-bent process for long vibration life.
