4-8 Registration Eye Clamp

Combined ring-and-clamp fitting that grips a wire and provides an ear in one compact node.

4-8 Registration Eye Clamp

Specifications

Model4-8
Drawing No.4-8
StandardTB/T 2075.4-2024 — Part 4: Non-limit-type positioning devices
InstallationClamps wire and tube together, providing a connection ear in one node

The 4-8 registration eye clamp integrates a clamp ring and a wire clamp in one body: bolted around a tube it provides the connection ear, and its clamp groove simultaneously grips a contact wire or messenger wire. One part does the work of two, simplifying the connection node and reducing the part count.

The clamp groove curvature matches the wire section, so the grip is firm without groove damage, and the ear accepts the standard rope and positioning fittings. It serves both positioning structures and anchor-branch constructions.

Design Features

  • Ring and wire clamp integrated — compact, low part count
  • Groove curvature matched to the wire — firm grip, no damage
  • Ear accepts standard rope and positioning fittings
  • Anti-corrosion finish for long-term outdoor service

The product is manufactured under CRCC railway product certification and an ISO 9001 quality management system, with incoming material inspection, in-process control on critical operations and batch-by-batch final inspection before delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the 4-8 a combined fitting?

It is a clamp ring and a wire clamp in one body: the ring bolts to the tube, the groove grips the wire, and the ear takes rope or positioning fittings — all in a single node.

Which wires does the groove take?

Contact wire or messenger wire of the matched cross-section; confirm your wire section when ordering so the groove profile suits it.

Where is it typically used?

Wire-to-tube nodes in positioning structures and anchor-branch constructions where a separate ring plus a separate clamp would otherwise be needed.

Does the ear match standard fittings?

Yes — the ear hole follows the standard interface of the positioning-family ropes and fittings.

Performance

Operating Conditions

Outdoor service at OCS registration points on mainline, high-speed and station structures, subject to suspension, wind, ice and dynamic pantograph loads as defined by the OCS design.

Mechanical Performance

Integrated body carries wire grip and ear loads together; groove profile protects the wire surface.

Applications

Wire-to-Tube Nodes

One fitting replaces two at the joint.

Anchor Branches

Fixes wires at anchor constructions.

Maintenance Access

Fewer parts, simpler re-assembly.

Harsh Climates

Anti-corrosion finish for outdoor duty.
