The 4-5 long registration eye extends the ordinary registration eye with a longer ring span between clamp and ear: the greater reach lets connected parts clear obstructions and gives ropes and tension members a longer, better-angled run. It bolts around cantilever or positioning tubes in the usual split-ring way, with the position adjustable along the tube.
Two tube diameters are covered — Φ48 and Φ60 — and the ear hole is standard for the rope and positioning fittings, including the flexible locator's tension rope and wind brace ropes.
