4-7A Anchor Registration Clip (42 / 48 / 55)

High-stiffness clip fixing the off-going anchor wire at its design position, clear of the running wire.

4-7A Anchor Registration Clip (42 / 48 / 55)

Specifications

Model4-7A (42/48/55)
Drawing No.4-7A
StandardTB/T 2075.4-2024 — Part 4: Non-limit-type positioning devices
InstallationClipped on the anchor-mast support tube, fixing the off-going contact wire position

The 4-7A anchor registration clip is fitted on the support tube of the anchor mast: its grooved body grips the off-going (anchor) contact wire and holds it at the design position, preserving the safe clearance between the anchor wire and the running wire so the pantograph never catches the dead branch through the overlap or at the termination structure.

Three sizes — 42, 48 and 55 — match the supporting tube diameters, and the clip groove matches the contact wire cross-section. The high fixing stiffness keeps the anchor wire position stable under wind and temperature movement.

Design Features

  • Sizes 42 / 48 / 55 matched to the support tube diameters
  • Clip groove matched to the contact wire for a firm grip
  • High fixing stiffness holds the anchor wire position stable
  • Anti-corrosion finish for outdoor service

The product is manufactured under CRCC railway product certification and an ISO 9001 quality management system, with incoming material inspection, in-process control on critical operations and batch-by-batch final inspection before delivery.

Henan Chuangwit Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplies this locator with selection calculations, matched fittings and site technical guidance for traction power projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an anchor registration clip for?

At overlaps and wire terminations, the off-going (anchor) branch of the contact wire must be held at a fixed position so it never fouls the pantograph. The 4-7A clips it to the support tube at the design position.

Why three sizes?

42, 48 and 55 correspond to the support tube diameters; pick the size matching your mast's support tube.

Does it touch the running wire?

No — it grips only the off-going branch; its job is precisely to keep that branch clear of the running wire's envelope.

Which standard applies?

TB/T 2075.4-2024 — Part 4: Non-limit-type positioning devices.

Performance

Operating Conditions

Outdoor service at anchor masts, overlaps and tension-length terminations where the off-going wire must be held clear of the running wire.

Mechanical Performance

Grooved clip grips the wire without slip; stiff fixing holds the anchor branch position under wind and temperature movement.

Applications

Overlap Sections

Keeps the dead branch clear at anchor overlaps.

Wire Terminations

Fixes the off-going wire at tension lengths.

Temperature Movement

Holds position as the wire expands.

High-Speed Passage

Protects pantographs from fouling branches.
