The FYFH-1.8AT shuttle-type section insulator (Type B) is designed and manufactured per TB/T 3036-2016 for in-phase electrical sectioning of 25kV AC 50Hz single-phase electrified railway overhead contact systems. The Type B shuttle profile offers a particularly smooth pantograph transition and enhanced arc-resistance performance for busy mainline sectioning points.

A high-strength aluminum alloy body carries the contact wire tensile load; arc-resistant insulating elements (silicone rubber or porcelain) separate the two electrical sections. The unit is rated for 27.5kV systems, line speeds up to 200 km/h (Type B rated per TB/T 3036-2016 upper limit), -40°C to +70°C operating temperature and altitudes up to 4,000 m.

The shuttle geometry keeps the pantograph carbon strip in controlled contact through the insulating zone, limiting contact force peaks and reducing wear on both strip and insulator runners.

Installed as an in-line series suspension in the contact wire with mechanical end connections. Henan Chuangwit Railway Equipment provides datasheets, type test reports and project engineering support for the FYFH series.
