1-5 Support Brace (1-5AG34 / 1-5AG48 / 1-5AL42)

Diagonal brace that locks flat and inclined cantilever tubes into a rigid, vibration-resistant triangle.

1-5 Support Brace (1-5AG34 / 1-5AG48 / 1-5AL42)

Specifications

Model1-5AG34 / 1-5AG48 / 1-5AL42
Drawing No.1-5AG
StandardTB/T 2075.1-2024 — Part 1: Cantilever support devices
MaterialsHot-dip galvanized steel tube (Φ34 / Φ48); aluminum alloy tube (φ42)
InstallationConnects the flat cantilever and the inclined cantilever to close the triangular structure

The 1-5 support brace is the diagonal stiffening member of a cantilever support device. Joined at both ends through 1-6 support connectors, it links the flat cantilever and the inclined cantilever into a geometrically stable triangle — the arrangement that gives the cantilever assembly its rigidity against vibration and displacement while trains pass and wind loads act on the suspension.

Three sizes cover the speed classes: Φ34 and Φ48 hot-dip galvanized steel tubes for ≤200 km/h and 200–250 km/h lines, and the φ42 aluminum tube 1-5AL42 for 250–350 km/h aluminum cantilever systems. Adjustable connection holes at both ends let the brace adapt to different mast assembly dimensions.

Design Features

  • High tube stiffness effectively suppresses cantilever vibration
  • Adjustable end holes adapt to varying post assembly dimensions
  • Interfaces match the 1-6 support connector family for tool-light erection
  • Anti-corrosion finish suits long-term outdoor and tunnel service

The product is manufactured under CRCC railway product certification and an ISO 9001 quality management system, with incoming material inspection, in-process control on critical operations and batch-by-batch final inspection before delivery.

Used on every braced cantilever support together with the 1-3 cantilever connector and 1-6 support connectors. Henan Chuangwit supplies braces individually or in matched assembly kits, with selection calculations and site guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a cantilever assembly need the 1-5 support brace?

The brace connects the flat cantilever and the inclined cantilever and locks them into a geometrically stable triangle. This markedly raises the stiffness of the assembly and suppresses vibration and displacement of the suspension under train passage and wind.

Which sizes are available?

1-5AG34 (Φ34) and 1-5AG48 (Φ48) hot-dip galvanized steel tubes, and 1-5AL42 (φ42) aluminum tube for the 250–350 km/h aluminum cantilever systems.

How is the brace length adjusted on site?

The connection holes at both ends are adjustable, so the brace accommodates different mast assembly dimensions while the 1-6 support connectors close the joints.

Does the brace carry contact wire loads directly?

No. It is a stabilizing member: the messenger and contact wire loads flow through the cantilever tubes and connectors, while the brace keeps the triangle geometry rigid.
