In recent years Chinese railway technology has continued to win recognition in international markets through outstanding performance and reliable quality. In the electrification upgrade of the Novi Sad–Subotica section of the Hungary–Serbia Railway, Chinese OCS standards and equipment have once again gone abroad, contributing Chinese strength to Belt and Road railway connectivity.
Chinese standards support construction of the Hungary–Serbia Railway
The Hungary–Serbia Railway links Budapest, the capital of Hungary, with Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and forms an important part of Europe’s core international rail network. The Novi Sad–Subotica section has an electrification upgrade length of about 110 km and a design speed of 200 km/h.
In the OCS construction of this project, the OCS products supplied by Chinese companies are designed and manufactured entirely to Chinese standards, covering key components such as copper-alloy contact wire, copper-clad steel contact wire, preformed suspension clamps, positioning clamps and dropper clamps. These products have undergone rigorous type tests and on-site testing, and every performance indicator meets or exceeds the requirements of IEC standards.
Advantages of Chinese equipment
The advantages of Chinese OCS equipment lie in mature and reliable technical solutions, comprehensive engineering support capability, competitive cost performance, and extensive operation and maintenance experience. The Hungary–Serbia Railway project uses an AT-fed OCS system built to Chinese standards, characterised by large transmission capacity, long supply distance and high operational reliability.
OCS products manufactured by Henan Chuangwit Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. have obtained a number of international certifications, and the company has accumulated rich experience in export supply. Its products have been successfully applied in several overseas railway projects, providing solid support for the strategy of Chinese railways going global.
Henan Chuangwit Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. will continue to take an active part in the construction of international railway projects and contribute to bringing Chinese railway technology to the world. For business enquiries please call 0375-6051688.
